Can a real estate broker reduce a commision on a transaction with out one of the agents knoledge??

I represented a buyer on a transaction, the listing agent /owner discover right after funding that she was10 k short to close. we belong to the same company (diferent offices) our company president decided to cut my commission to make up for part of the money. Of course , the listing agent /owner did not get any commission.I dicover the commission sortage when I receive the closing statements, Any brokers out there or agent that can tell me if this can be done with out my consent? can I claim to my broker the rest of my commission? thank you for your help.
